IPMS SANTA ROSA AND IPMS MT. DIABLO HOBBY EXPO DEBRIEF
Hi Everyone!

Well again another very successful Expo to report on.
Yesterday we held our annual Expo in Petaluma and once again we had and excellent show, and I believe everyone who attended had a wonderful time.

We would like to say Thank You to our partners at IPMS Mt. Diablo for their continuing support of the show. |
| A Great Big Congratulations goes out to all of the winners at the show, there were definitely some really fine models and modelers. |
|
|
 |
|
We want to recognize our sponsors who have been so generous in their support, we really appreciate it! |
|
And of course our vendors who usually get little recognition, but without them the show could not go on.
Thank you to all of you and we hope that you will continue to support us.

|
As everyone knows no one person can put together a show as successful as this one was, you need a team effort.
So I would like to THANK EVERYONE who helped make this a truly great show.

A Big thank you to Steve Elliott and his family for all the time and effort they have put forward to make the show what it is today.

I would like to send out thanks to Mike Winters for his hard work organizing the vendors.

Thanks go to Brett Halby and Paul Anderson for putting on another outstanding raffle again this year just look at those tables!! |

And how about that speed build this year with the egg planes...pretty cool.
Thank you Dave Grundman for heading up the Speed Build.
It seemed to go flawlessly and the competitors were having a lot of fun.

And Head Judge Dale Bohling and Assistant Head Judge John Clements were hard at it all day and did a super job for us.

I would also like to thank all of the hobby clubs that attended this years show by including these clubs has greatly accelerated the popularity of the Expo.
Please join us again next year.

A Thank You has to go to Hans Beerbaum for bringing his German anti aircraft gun and many other German WWII display items.
The AA gun was a big hit with the kids!

Our registration crew deserves some kudos for their hard work Thanks Tom Berto, Pat Nichols, and Danny Serrano another job well done! |
| I would like to thank our club members John Boes, Bill Stewart, and Tom Young for manning the club booth and recruiting new members. |

And I do not want to forget the Girl Scouts who provided the refreshments again this year for us...the girls did a great job...Thanks A lot! |
| Vendors seemed like they were doing well with the sales all day, with people carrying model boxes out by the stacks. |

|
I would like to thank Doug Erickson for organizing the Civil War reenacators of the 1st Irish Brigade, 69th New York Infantry.
We hope you will join us again next year.

|
This show is one of the most successful shows we have put on, we continue to set the bar high for local shows to challenge.
The kind of results that we saw yesterday comes only from a lot of hard work from many individuals.
