F-14D Tomcat by Spencer Lew (8 years old)
Theme: Model Menagerie
This model was built by me and my father.
First, we put together the tailfins, fuselage, wings and nose.
Next we painted it neutral gray.
Then we masked the front of the fuselage so we could paint it black.
We gloss coated it.
My favorite thing about the model is the swing wings and the markings (VF-31).
I enjoyed building it with my dad but the sanding was BOOOOORING.
Kit: Monogram F-14D
Scale: 1/48
Modifications: None (Out of the Box)
Finish: Tamiya Acrylic, Future Floor Wax
