IPMS SANTA ROSA'S ANNUAL CLUB SUPER AUCTION
I hope that everyone is having a great Christmas/Holiday season!
HOLIDAY PARTY STUFF...ING
The club celebrated another Holiday Party at the Round Table Pizza's glass room, and I think everyone had a good time that attended the party. Lots of nice gifts were had by all, both men and women. I know I was happy about getting the Trumpeter Russian SAM-6 missile kit. And I know that Lon was excited about getting the new Hasegawa Tony and Doug with his Tamiya M20 armored car looked like a happy camper.
It was nice to see some of the ladies at the party this year as well, thank you all for coming!
I would like to thank a few other people that helped put the party together for us this year.
Thank you Greg for bringing your awesome brownies, taking care of the food and drinks, awards and voting, to say nothing about the saucer door prizes. Thank you Brett for securing all the extra stuff. And thanks go to Jae and Doug for helping with the set up and the decorations. and for bringing a really nice dessert tray.
Without the help of people like these our events would not be as successful as they are...Thanks again.
Congratulation's also have to go out to Doug Dropeskey our webmaster for winning this years "Contributor of the Year" award. And also by popular vote at the party Doug was chosen to be this years "Meteor Award Recipient" and receives a $25.00 prize. Way to go Doug you really deserve these awards this year, and thanks again for all your hard work on the website.
And don't forget the "Jack Riggar Challenge"
--To build the door prize flying saucer model to the best of your ability in any alternative paint scheme that you desire, no traditional saucers here, and have it done for the April meeting--
We're not talking about just any challenge here or something...were talking about building models.....
Flying Saucer Models!
If you don't know what I am talking about you should have been at the party.
No.....really... those of us at the party are going to be building the door prizes we got there and have them ready for the April meeting.
This really sounds like a lot of fun!!
Anything goes they can be painted any way possible (except like a traditional flying saucer) the wildest paint jobs, markings etc, this should really bring out the artists. We will have some sort of prize for the best one. Sorry there are not any more saucers available they went like hot cakes at a fireman's breakfast :-D.

SUPER AUCTION INFORMATION
It's that time of year again for another one of our super wild club auctions! As most of you know already this is an event in which the members and their guests donate modeling related items (Books, Tools, Kits, Magazines, Videos, etc.) whatever you think would have some value to a modeler. Pleasekeep the items to things that you would enjoy bidding on, but all donations will be accepted.
All items will be auctioned off to the highest bidder and all proceeds will go to the club. The intent is to raise as much money as possible from this event. Proceeds from the auction will be used to pay for the Expo and seed our raffle prizes, which if you remember last years Expo raffle was the very best and is still talked about.
We have had a couple large donations from outside the club along with the donations from our generous members we expect to have hundreds of items to auction. Some of the items will include 1/32 and 1/48 scale aircraft, armor and car kits, videos, hardback, and Squadron books.
This is just a taste of what we will have for you this year.

The AUCTION is usually the clubs highest attended event of the year with plenty of bargains to be had by all attendees. Please plan on attending this years AUCTION it should be one of our best!
