USA M5A1 Stuart Walkaround

The M3 Stuart entered production before US involvement in World War II, and quickly proved an inferior design on the battlefields of Africa and Europe. In an attempt to redress the problem, the Army Tank Board approved this version with better armor, improved turret, and twin V8 engines. The V8 engines were introduced to relieve demand on radial engines and actually provided better performance.
