British A34 Comet Walkaround

Location: Military Vehicle Technology Foundation in Portola Valley, California
Date: May 17, 2008
Photographer: John Admire

The A34 Comet, first used at the end of World War II, was an evolutionary development of the Cromwell tank. The vehicle incorporated many automotive improvements and a 77mm gun very similar to the 17 pounder gun mounted in the Sherman Firefly.

You can find more information about this vehicle in the Wikipedia.
