• The treasurer is still taking club dues.
• Club meetings take place on the second Thursday of every month at HobbyTown in Petaluma. Steering meetings take place on the fourth Thursday of every month at HobbyTown in Petaluma.
• The latest issue of IPMS USA Journal was released last month. The quality of this magazine rivals that of Fine Scale and similar publications.
• Join IPMS USA to receive 4 issues of the IPMS USA Journal and become eligible for the Meteor Award. Each IPMS Chapter awards one Meteor Award annually, to the greatest contributer as judged by club leadership.
• The IPMS Nationals are now two months away.
• The club will hold a series of 4 weathering classes at HobbyTown in Petaluma, starting in August. The classes will cover weathering with an airbrush, using washes, drybrushing, and the application of pigments and chalk. Rees Gwillim will teach the fist class. See the club calendar for more information about individual classes.
• Club elections will occur at the July 12 meeting. Club secratary Greg Reynolds will email and mail out ballots the week before the election. Members must return ballots BEFORE the July 12 meeting. If you want to run for President, Vice President, Secratary, or Treasurer, notify the club secretary as soon as possible. Get on the ballot now!
• The club continues to sponsor kit reviews. A kit review volunteer receives up to $40 towards a recent kit release of his or her choice. The volunteer must complete three reviews over the next three month--an in box review, an in progress review, and a completed model review.
• Three color logo club shirts are now available. The club extends thanks to Jack Riggar for his efforts to make these new shirts available.
• Please submit photos of your models and workbench for the developing website member area.
• The club is still looking for someone to do a monthly newsletter.
• The Nike Hercules Missile Site tour was a great success. If you could not make it, the site opens one day each month, and the area includes many other attractions.
• See the club calendar for a list of upcoming events and model shows in this area.

Website Announcements (by Doug Dropeskey, Site Administrator):
• Please see the Update History page for a complete listing of all changes to this website.
• Please submit photos of your workbench if you would like them to appear on this site. See the workbenches area for examples by other members.
• If you would like to contribute photos of events, meetings, walkarounds, and so forth, please contact the site administrator. We are happy to handle all image processing and include any information or captions you like.
• The workbench area will soon expand into a more comprehensive member area with personalized pages for each member. These pages will include workbench photos, model photos, and awards received.
