• Randy Bumgardener brought in a 1/48 scale P-51D by Tamiya, built up in markings for the 354th Fighter Group.
Though a drop together kit, he noted that the canopy did not fit very well.
He used medium width Tamiya tape to mask off the invasion stripes.
• Randy also displayed an in progress 1/48 scale P-47D by Tamiya.
He used Mr. Surfacer 1200 as primer, sanded out with buffing sticks.
The entire model was covered with Alcad aluminum, save for control surfaces painted with flat aluminum.
• Jack Riggar fabricated these intake duct and compressor fan parts for his A-7 Corsair II.
After about 60 hours on the project, Meteor Productions released a single piece duct for the same purpose.
He decided to use the after market part to avoid a seam line in the duct.

• Jack also brought in his A-7 Corsair II.
A cardboard sheath covers the completed cockpit.
The aircraft will bear markings for VA 37, deployed to the Sahara Desert in armor sand camouflage in 1990.
• Jack completed his showcase with a model from Armored Trooper Votoms, a Japanese animation series.
He scratch built the interior including scale animatronic gloves to control the mecha.
The rocket launcher was built using brass rod and bombs from an Intruder.
Jack notes that the seam lines reappered on the model as the liquid cement used during construction slowly outgassed.
He now uses superglue everywhere to avoid this problem.

He built the kit in about two weeks, almost out of the box.

The model was painted Model Master Russian tank green and weathered using filters and pastels.
The very fragile link and length tracks were built up with liquid cement and superglue.
• Doug Dropeskey displayed this McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II in 1/33 scale by GPM.

He wanted to show exactly what a card model looks like on the inside.

• Tom Young brought in the first two of eight diorama vigenettes he is building under contract.
The models depict Budenny's Red First Cavalry and the Semenovske Life Guard Infantry.
