• Ed brought in two super-deformed miniture Gundams.
• Ken Lawrence brough in an upgraded Dragon Panther D tank in 1/35 scale.
Though not the premium edition kit, Ken added Friulmodel tracks, an Aber gun barrel, and markings from Archer Dry Transfers.
According to Ken, the model went together fairly well with occasional forcing required.
He affixed the periscopes using clear canopy cement and warns that the spare track links do not fit the provided brackets.
Ken owns Pacific Coast Models located in Santa Rosa, CA.

• Wesley brought in a very well constructed model of Darth Vader's TIE Fighter.
According to Starship Modeler, the ship scales out to 1/32.
• Mike Winters recently completed this 1/35 South East Asian Elephant by Verlinden.
The children from the kit apparently fell off at some point earlier in the day.
Mike made the elephant's hair using twine and painted her with Tamiya acrylics.
Starting with a layer of desert yellow, he added pink spots, then brown and black oils, and finally rubbed off some of the final coat after a few hours.
The twine and string for the tail was affixed using white glue.
He finished with a matt clearcoat over the entire subject and applied Future to the eyes.

• Tom Young brought in this diorama featuring figures and horses from a soft plastic kit by Orion.
The kit includes 12 unique figures and 4 unique horses.
In order to create more horse poses, Tom was forced to mix and match horse parts.
The model was built on comission and depicts the Red 1st Cavalry Dubanov.

• Tom Young also brought in this 1/72 scale diorama featuring a G-11 glider (difficult to build), Gaz-AA truck by Military Wheels (very detailed out of the box), officer figure by Atlantic, Preisler horses, and a wagon coverted from the IMEX Covered Wagon set.
The reins were created by running typing paper through white glue diluted with water.
• Randy Bumgardener brought in the next two kits, a 1/48 scale P-51B by Tamiya and a 1/32 scale Macchi Folgore by Pacific Coast Models.
The Mustang, destined to wear markings from the 354th Fighter Group, represents his first attempt at a Tamiya kit.
He used Alcad primer, shot at 30-35psi, as the basecoat for a natural metal finish.
• Randy continues to labor over the Macchi, which now wears a coat of paint and gloss overcoat.
The camouflage was added freehand using an Iwata airbrush with a 0.2mm nozzle.
He notes that the spinner backplate is too small for the nose.

He has been working on the model for about 18 months.
The body was brush painted, and Zac still needs to add the windshield and windows.
Rees Gwillim built this very detailed Caterpillar D8-H bulldozer by AMT, carried atop a lowboy trailer.
The kit was issued in the mid 1970s.
He rebuilt the controls, grills, and roll cage from scratch.
