Free Admission! Bring the whole family.
The 2009 show offers something for everyone. An IPMS model contest, of course, but also displays and demonstrations from a dozen Sonoma County hobby clubs. There will be model railroads, RC planes, ships and cars, battling robots, war gaming and RC car racing. Plus, over 25 vendor tables, a huge raffle, Make & Take for the kids, and the ever-popular "Speed Building" Contest.
This year's contest theme is "Crafting Your Dreams". Our 10 Special Awards for 2009 feature autographs by dream builders like space travel visionary Willy Ley, pioneer special effects artist Ray Harryhausen, science fiction author Arthur C. Clarke, and claymation animator Nick Park.
Contest entry fees:Adult, $5 for the first entry + $1 for each additional model.
Junior (16 and under) $2 for the first entry + $1 for each additional model.
Model contest registration closes at 12:30 pm.
