Matilda
The British Matilda, though small, was classed as a heavy "Infantry Tank" and was among the most heavily armored of it's day. Slow, meant only to match the speed of the infantry walking beside it, the 80mm armor (equal to the 1943 Panther!) was impenetrable compared to the typical 20-25mm armor of it's day. Only the German 88's could stop it in the desert and only the Tiger surpassed it.
